While I'll never recover the costs of creating the app, I loved every step of the project, and I fully intend on doing it all again soon; it's an expensive hobby, but I really enjoy the process. I'm so grateful for everyone's support - the feedback has been so kind and generous. I can't believe, after making a little sketch in my notebook, that I now have something selling globally; this has been such an adventure. Thank you for everything. Mr N. x
1. My Own Bone-Idleness
For someone who aims to inspire those in training, or those not feeling too hopeful in their career, I've been a dreadful example recently. I have so many aims and ambitions that I'm currently not doing anything about, and there's simply no excuse for it. Instead, I've been complaining about not feeling like I'm achieving enough. My children are doing well, I'm relatively on top of things (as much as you can be in this business), but I want more! Hopefully, my public split with laziness, in front of you now, will be the start of a new chapter.
2. Viral Letters
As far as I'm aware, this is the first year in quite a few, where some school letter hasn't been shared a billion times during SATs season. You'll know the one; it's the one that says something like, "This test doesn't show what a kind, caring person you are. You're so good with crayons, but the government don't know how good you are with them. Do your best, and never stop loving your crayons." Just get on with it. SATs - you know they need doing; it's been this way for years.
3. Monday Blues People
Be quiet. If you hate your job that much, do something else; stop bringing everyone else down with you. Negativity is infectious, which is why I try hard to steer clear. Again, a frequent phrase around here; it's not the job you hate, it's the way you're being asked to do it. In my bid to encourage, let's talk about problem solving, well-being and keeping motivated. I'd love to hear from you!
I may as well add odd numbers, attention seeking, and hypocrisy to that list too.
I'm back, and I'm feeling better already!
